WHEN DREAMS COME TRUE


Please be informed that Perak Women For Women Society (PWW) and City Ballet is organising a fundraising ballet charity concert entitled "When Dreams Come True", a ballet performance featuring "Little Mermaid" and " New York! New York!", directed and choreographed by Datin Rosalina Ooi, founder of City Ballet and president of PSPA.

Details are as follows :

Date : 25th November 2009 (Wed)

Time : 8.00pm (Doors open at 7.30pm)

Venue : State Banquet Hall
Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab, Ipoh

Proceeds will go towards helping PWW set up a one-stop service and information centre for women and children. PWW's new centre, located at No. 52 Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Ipoh will provide temporary shelter for victims of domestic violence, a temporary refuge for children from broken homes, skill training and research materials.

CASTING CALL FOR A MALAYSIAN DRAMA SERIES

Dear Members,

Red Communications Sdn Bhd, a production house which has produced many successful tv programs such as 3R (Respond, Relax, React), Gol & Gincu, Profil Seni, Impian Illyana as well as other cooperatives with Deutsche Welle, Animal Planet, Discovery & AETN are currently producing an 8 part miniseries on Sybil Karthigasu for Astro's "Suatu Ketika" series on Astro Citra.

They are looking for actors and extras to be in the series and auditions will be held on the 7th and 8th of November, 2009 at the PSPA office. For those of you who are interested in acting and taking part in a once in a lifetime experience, please ensure you are there on audition day!

PSPA SPECTACULAR MASQUERADE PARTY

The Perak Society of Performing Arts will be having a “Spectacular Masquerade Party” on Friday 25th of September, 2009, 8.00pm at the Impiana Casuarina Hotel. To the twinkle-toed, come in your dancing shoes and boogie the night away to the music machine of DJ Pillai and burn up the dance floor with your best moves to win the spot dance competition.
