PSPA SPECTACULAR MASQUERADE PARTY

The Perak Society of Performing Arts will be having a “Spectacular Masquerade Party” on Friday 25th of September, 2009, 8.00pm at the Impiana Casuarina Hotel. To the twinkle-toed, come in your dancing shoes and boogie the night away to the music machine of DJ Pillai and burn up the dance floor with your best moves to win the spot dance competition.

Take your chances at the lucky dip to win fantastic prizes and come in your fanciest and most elaborate masks to stand a chance at winning the best Mask Competition. If you are looking to be entertained, you will not be disappointed with “Haute Couture” a fashion show by The Wedding Station modelled by ‘Miss Malaysia Models’,

sway your hips to the Latin Dance and Broadway dance presentations

and song presentations from the PSPA Singers who will be performing solos and duets of your favourite love songs.

The Dinner and Dance is open to all. So dust off those dancing shoes, and come join the revelry. All you need is your fanciest mask, a sparkle in your eyes and a great sense of fun!

NEW ORLEANS SOUND COMING TO THE PHILHARMONIC

HIGHLANDS HARMONICA


To all Harmonica players,

The Malaysian Harmonica Society will be organizing an international event, the Highlands Harmonica Festival 2009 in Cameron Highlands on 17 July to 19 July 2009. This is the first international event that will be held in Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Malaysia.

The objectives of this event are to increase awareness of harmonica playing, encourage more teenagers to learn harmonica instrument and help promote Cameron Highlands to more oversea tourists. This is a festival where all music lovers will gather and not a competition. Members of the public are welcome.

The PSPA International Ensemble is back in town with a new lineup comprising new and old faces. Their visit this time round consists of a performance on the 4th of June at Syuen Hotel and the musicians will also be conducting workshops for a fortunate few.
